Closing of Booking Period

Closing a booking period will create the financial statement and lock the period, such that no further transaction can be booked into the closed period. To close a booking period, choose the Accounting tab and select Close Accounting Period:

In case a closing an accounting period too early, it is possible to reopen the recently closed accounting period.
